ETH Bividend

BTCS has declared a special one-time Bividend of $0.05 per share, payable to shareholders of record on September 26, 2025.  Eligible shareholders will have the option to elect to receive their Bividend in Ethereum (ETH), based on the USD/ETH exchange rate on the record date. To receive your Bividend in ETH, you must complete the required election and wallet verification process outlined below. The payment date for the Bividend will be on or before October 17th, 2025.

Loyalty Payment

Shareholders who hold their shares at the transfer agent from the record date until January 26, 2026 will also receive a special one-time “Loyalty Payment” of $0.35 per share based on the price of ETH on the record date. The Loyalty Payment will be payable solely in ETH and is only available to Common Stock shareholders and excludes company employees and directors. The Loyalty Payment is designed to reward long-term shareholders who have supported our vision and aims to limit market manipulation through predatory short-selling. The Loyalty Payment will be made on or before February 6, 2026.

    This Bividend rewards our shareholders for their continued support while encouraging financial freedom by providing an onramp to owning Ethereum. BTCS has a long history of being first in the digital asset industry, and this Bividend will make BTCS the first public company in the world to issue a dividend in ETH. Along with the $0.05 per share Bividend payment, BTCS is offering a $0.35 per share Loyalty Payment to encourage shareholders to move their shares to Book Entry at the transfer agent, thereby preventing them from being lent to short sellers who are betting against BTCS.

    How much is the Bividend?

    TThe Loyalty Payment is only eligible to Common Stock shareholders who have completed the Opt-In form and have held their shares at the transfer agent from September 26, 2025 through January 26, 2026. BTCS officers, directors, employees, and Series V Preferred shareholders are not eligible for the Loyalty Payment. Common Stock shareholders who already hold their shares at our transfer agent and complete the Opt-In form are also eligible for the Loyalty Payment.

    Do I need an Ethereum wallet to receive the Bividend and Loyalty Payment in ETH?

    Yes, you must provide a valid Ethereum wallet address to receive a Bividend in ETH. If you do not complete the Opt-In forms by the record date, or complete them incorrectly and fail to follow the process, you will receive your Bividend in cash and will not receive a Loyalty Payment.

    Do I need a Ethereum Exchange account (i.e. Coinbase, Kraken, Gemini etc.)?

    No, you do not need an exchange account; any valid Ethereum wallet address will receive the Bividend. Shareholders who successfully complete all the required steps by the record date will receive a Bividend in ETH. All other shareholders will receive a traditional cash dividend.

    What is a shareholder of record?

    A shareholder of record is a shareholder who holds their shares at the Company’s transfer agent – not at a brokerage firm. If you are a BTCS shareholder and hold your shares with a brokerage firm (Robinhood, Etrade, Charles Schwab, etc.) then you are a beneficial owner, not a shareholder of record.
